Live Blackworms – Premium Fish Food for Healthy Growth
Give your aquatic pets the nutrition they deserve with Live Blackworms, a natural, protein-rich food source perfect for freshwater fish. Unlike processed foods, live blackworms provide a natural diet that mimics what fish eat in the wild. They are easy to digest, reducing waste and keeping your aquarium cleaner.
Why Live Blackworms are Important for Fish Feeding:
- High protein content to support muscle development and overall health.
- Promotes colour vibrancy
- Mental and physical stimulation to support growth, strength and breeding
- Ideal for a variety of species - tropical fish, cichlids, bettas, and more.
- Stimulates natural hunting instincts
- Encourages picky eaters to feed
Feeding Instructions:
- Rinse before feeding in cool, dechlorinated water to remove any debris and waste.
- Feed small portions, using tweezers, a pipette, or a feeding dish to offer just enough worms for your fish to eat within a few minutes.
Serving Size Guide:
- 20ml Serving - Choose this size for small tanks or small fish like bettas, guppies, and tetras. Great as a treat or supplement once or twice a week. Helps avoid overfeeding and keeps water clean.
- 60ml Serving - Choose this (or more) for larger tanks or bigger fish like cichlids or goldfish and for heavily stocked tanks or feeding multiple fish. Use when black worms are a main protein source.
Storage: Store in a shallow container with dechlorinated water in the fridge or cool conditions and refresh water daily for longevity. With proper care, refrigerated black worms can last up to 2 weeks.
Note: We use the Marina Worm Feeder to serve blackworms to our discus.
