Fresh fruit and vegetables are essential in a bird's diet. Depending on the species, fresh food should account for about 30% of the overall food intake (and even more for frugivorous species such as eclectus parrots!).

We know that many people lead very busy lives, and it can be hard to keep up with the fresh component of your bird's diet. We make up fresh veggie salads to help you with the workload! Just add fruit for those birds who love their sweet stuff (we don't add fruit because it doesn't last once cut up).

Veggie mixes may contain: Bok choy, kale, wombok, parsley, silverbeet, spinach, carrot, chillies, corn, green beans and fresh sprouts.
